Be sure to stop by the Joy Clair blog and the Rinea blog all month to see the inspiration everyone has created for you.
It's Ceal, here to share a couple projects with you today using one of our new releases Shadow of the Almighty and Rinea foil paper. The entire month of September we are collaborating with Rinea foils. Can you believe it's September already? Where did summer go?
I decided to make one last summer card because summer is typically over since school has started back. The Shadow of the Almighty is from our bible journaling line, Color by Faith series, but I wanted to show that it can also be used to make cards because all stampers aren't bible journalers. I do however have a bible journaling page below.
This set was perfect to create a journal page in my bible to document our family vacation to the beach and how peaceful it was to have quiet time on the back deck as you watched God display his creativity in every sunrise and sunset. I love being outside whether at the beach, the lake or the mountains taking in God's beautiful artwork.
Hop over to my blog, Simply Beautiful for details on both projects.
It's Jess here today and I can't wait to share my first Joy Clair Stamps & Rinea collaboration! I know you are going to really enjoy all that the designers have in store for you! Today I'm using a new release called "Mermaid at Heart". I think most of the designers fell in love with this set as soon as they laid eyes on it! I combined it with the Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack from Rinea.
Here is HANDMADE CARD I created:
You can see here up close how I used ShinHan Alcohol Markers to color the mermaid tail a bit. I used the Silver/Silver Starstruck Rinea foiled paper to stamp my image first with Stazon. Stazon ink does work the best with the foiled papers.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my card! See you again soon!
Hello Joy Clair friends! It's Kerry here and I'm back to share some new inspiration! Today I'm playing with the new "You're a Gem" stamp set and the yummy Rinea Foil called "Frosted Foil". I used the Starstruck Turquoise in the pad and stamped the fun gems directly onto the foil. After stamping and cutting out the foiled gems, I used my bone folder to crease the lines so that I could bend the foil and create some dimension. I then stamped the gem cluster onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
To add a bit more of an "Icy" look, I used the Rinea Foil 3-D Rolled Star Die Set to create some "shards". I used the smallest die in the set and after rolling each section, I cut the piece in half so that I could have two pieces to tuck behind my gems. Looks pretty cool, right?!
After attaching the "shards", I added some additional stamped elements around the base panel and colored with Copics before attaching some golden thread and some bling. I love how this icy card turned out and I hope you do too!
Thanks for stooping over to check out my card! I hope it inspires you to get creative with Rinea foil and the new gem sets! :)
Hi, Connie here with a couple of cards using the same stamp set by Joy Clair. It is one of the newly released sets called Mermaid at Heart. The first example is created with Rinea paper and is so shiny! This paper is perfect for this card~
The images (mermaid tail and clam shell) are created with Distressed Oxides. Gather coordinating colors of inks, add water and run the paper through the ink. Heat dry after each color. Stamp the mermaid tail and clam shell (using Archival /Jet Black) and trim out. The Rinea paper is from the Variety Frosted Artist Pack. I used two different shades of blue/turquoise paper, from this pack, to create a card base for the stamped sea images.
Stencil work was added, to the background, using ARTplorations / Helen G. designer. Really love the look the stencil shape added to the card. Trying for a water effect. The sea images are added with tape runner and foam squares for added dimension. The clam with pearl are from the "Pearl of Great Price" stamp set by Joy Clair.
The background on this card was created using an embossing folder and duel tip markers by Leisure Arts. The markers are water based and so very easy to use like you would watercolors. The markers were used with a non stick mat and water. The marker ink was dabbed on the embossing folder to create a sea coral resting in the background. The mermaid tail is stamped on white cardstock and then colored in with the same marker ink that was created by adding water to the marker color. The sentiment is called Scriptures of Love by Joy Clair. Black ink splats were added to complete the card.

I made two cards, the first one is made with the brand new "Mermaid at Heart" stamp set with Rinea's Frosted Foil". This was a quick card to make with just 2 stamps, 2 markers and 3 die cuts. All the details on how I made it are on my blog: Cimbacreativefun

Isn't that foil gorgeous? And that stamp set has so many possibilities for sentiments between the foliage! Love it!

Hi, Connie here with a set of cards using the Heir Of God set by Joy Clair (affiliate link). This set is one of many from the Color by Faith Series, of stamps, that are designed by Joy Clair. If you are looking for "good stuff" ~ check them out. For five years Joy Clair has been designing "good stuff"!! The older sets coordinate with the newer sets so well. They all work together and that is "good stuff"!
The background, of the card set, was created using a stencil and Metallix gel medium by iCraft. The stamped images were stamped and colored, with Distress Oxide ink that was watered down. Vintage trim was added to the card front. The images were then cut out and adhered to the card front. The card front was matted on light gray cardstock with 3D foam square by Thermoweb, and then adhered to a folded card (created from coordinating pattern paper).
The sentiments were stamped on coordinating cardstock and trimmed into word strips. The word strips were then adhered to the card front with a tape runner.
White acrylic paint was used to add paint splats to the card front. Rhinestones were added to the stamped images for some "pretty".
Hello crafty friends!
Isn't it a lovely set? Perfect or making something to send off a recent college grad or student for their first day of school! Maybe even some classroom decor? Anyhow - I decided to create a card! Here is the beautiful handmade card I created:
I was playing with the Kaisercraft Greenhouse paper collection for this card. I only used the sentiment from the stamp set as it fit the cardfront beautifully. I love that you can use the Color By Faith series on their own, or as bible journaling sets.
Thanks for stopping by!
See you again next time.
