Fall Family Football by Jess

Hello friends!

 

 

It's Jess here today with a fun new card to share! Since I have been in Christmas mode, I decided to take a quick step away and make something NON Christmas using a newer release stamp set.  Football season is in full swing, so a football card seemed totally appropriate. I used the "Fall Family Football" stamp set to create this card. I love this set - it's a perfect fall/masculine/sporting themed set!  Great sentiments for all occasions - and you can modify it to apply to most sports too!

 

 

I stamped the football, helmet and sentiment stamps onto some white cardstock and colored with my Nuvo Markers, then cut them out.  I used some football field themed patterned paper to stamp a random pattern background using quite a few of the images from the set.

Simple Cards by Martha Lucia

Hi crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you. I prepared two different cards to show you how easy is create with Joy Clair stamps using different textures. Let me start with one of my favorites designs:

To make this card, I used the stamp set You're a Gem. I stamped it onto whisper white card stock using VersaFine Onix and clear Embossing Powder. I really like the lineal design of these gems and I decided to keep it clean. Then using Orange Flock Transfer Sheets from Therm-o-Web I created the strips. Then I resized the layer and created a mat using the same tone of orange.

I pasted the decorated layer over the basic black card base using double sided foam tape to give to it more high and dimension. As final touch I added some Orange Jewels from Kat Scrappiness.

My next project is card that I made using the stamp set October Fun. I used this card to other of my design teams but I just wanted to share it with you. To color the background I used Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir and for the Halloween characters, I used the Tri-Blend Markers.

October Fun is one of my favorites Halloween stamp sets and my dear friend Donna Idlet inspired me to color these!

Fall, Family & Football with Joy Clair and Leisure Arts~

Hi, Connie here with a set of cards created using the newly released set by Joy Clair called Fall, Family & Football and dual tip markers by Leisure Arts. Fun stuff right here.  Who doesn't love fall, family and football~we love em' all!  Just still waiting for the fall thing to happen here in Texas~

These cards were created by using the markers as a mixed media type ink.  I scribbled the ink on a non stick mat and added a small amount of water and dabbed the ink on the watercolor  paper.  I dried the paper with a heat tool after each color.  I just kept layering colors (from the markers) until I got a fallish mix of color. Something a cool November day would be proud of.  The images form the Fall, family & Football stamp set were stamped out and colored in with the dual tip markers by Leisure Arts.

The images were adhered to the card front with Dimensional adhesive and then double matted on coordinating cardstock.  The cards are 3" X 4" /small great for gift bags are football goodies!  

The second card is created using the same technique except I used Distress Oxides inks instead of the dual tip markers.  The background was created the same.  The images were water colored with Distress Oxide ink.  The images were adhered to the card front with dimensional adhesive/foam squares. The card front was double matted on coordinating cardstock and then adhered to a folded card.  This is a 3" X 3" card so it is perfect for a gift bag or used as a card on some game day treats!

Special Gift Tags by Martha Lucia

Hi crafty friends, Martha Lucia with you today! 

I have some special gift tags ideas featuring the stamp set Fall Family & Football from Joy Clair Stamps in combination with Rinea Foiled Paper.

I used the Fold Over Tag Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti. I cut it from different colors of Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper:  Ebony/Gold, Marigold/Gold and Ruby/Gold.

After decide which out side of color I wanted to use on my gift tags, I start the decoration of each piece using other colors of starstruck Rinea Foiled Paper. On this opportunity I used Silver/Silver, Sapphire/Sapphire and Jade/Jade Starstruck Rinea Foiled Paper. I stamped some images included on the stamp set Fall Family & Football using Piano Black StazOn Pigment Ink.

I combined the colors and pasted all the pieces with liquid glue.

The best part is that you can use these gift card for a secret message or special gift.

I embellished my gift tags pasting some designs of sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness that were according with the different messages.

Joy Clair and Rinea | Football Birthday Card

Hello hello hello everyone... Helen is here today. Our school has started a month ago, also Fall sports have started their games and Football is one of them. Today, I have a Football Birthday card to share with you with the newly released stamp set, Fall, Family and Football together with some Foiled Papers and Ghost Ink from Rinea.

All Rinea Glossy Solid Foiled Papers have gold on one side and other gorgeous color the other side. On my background, I used the gold side, trimmed it to 4"x5.25", and embossed it with stripe embossing folder. I added it on a white card with double-side tape.

I cut out another white cardstock using 2 sizes of Pierced Rectangle Dies to create a frame. And then, I added it on top of the foiled paper with some double-sided tape.

I cut out one of the emerald starstruck foiled papers (from the Jolly Foiled Paper Variety Pack) using one of the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies. I added on top of the gold foiled paper with double-sided tape.

I embellished the card with some of the football images from the Fall, Family and Football stamp set. 

I stamped the football goal post image with Ghost Ink on Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. I let it dried about a minute and the wiped it off with Purell Handwipe. After that I fussy cut it with micro-tips scissors.

I did the same stamping steps for the helmet and ball. I used the Violet/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper for the helmet and used the Mocha/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper from the Autumn Foiled Paper Variety Pack.

And I stamped the banner on a white cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink Pad and then the sentimenti in the middle of the banner with Fantasia VersaFine Clair Ink Pad. After that, I dried them with craft heater and fussy cut them with micro-tips scissors.

I added the goal posts, helmet, and ball on the card with permanent adhesive, and I added the sentiment with 3D foam tape.

I think...this is one of my favorite masculine cards and I hope you will like this card, too!

CAS Cards For Guys

Hello everyone... Helen is here again. And today, I would like to share these CAS cards for Guys with you all.

On my cards today, I use the Rustic Christmas Sentiments stamp set and Rustic Occasions Sentiments stamp set. Making these CAS cards for Guys is pretty simple and quick. Designs that you can create over and over again, especially if you want to mass-produce the cards for any occasions.

First for the background, I embossed the brown kraft cardstocks with woodgrain embossing folder. Trimmed them into 4" x 5.25" and then added them on top of the white cards with permanent adhesive glue.

After that, I added some white paint splatters on the background panels with white acrylic paint and water using fan brush. I simply flicked the paints on each card. Then, set them aside to dry while I was working the sentiments.

For the sentiments, I stamped the rustic wood frame from the Rustic Christmas Sentiments stamp set on white cardstocks using Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink pad with Mini MISTI. I stamped them 4 times.

And then, I stamped the sentiments from both Rustic Christmas Sentiments stamp set and Rustic Occasions Sentiments stamp set using Mini MISTI and same ink pad. It is very easy to center the sentiments inside the frame using the MISTI stamping tool.

After done stamping all the sentiments, I fussy cut them with scissors and then added each of them on the card with 3D foam tape.

No Probllama by Martha Lucia

Today I am featuring the No Probllama stamp set, one of my favorites stamp sets from the most recently release. 

I decided to make a funny card and selected basic black card stock to create the card base. I inked a complete whisper white piece of card stock using different colors of distress ink. I applied the ink with a blender brush. Then I die cut the On The Curve Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti from the inked whisper white piece. I pasted this layer over the basic black card base using double sided foam tape.

In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped three images included on the stamp set No Probllama with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I resized the stamped images using the Stitched Hex Tag Die Cut from Confetti Reverse. It is a great hexagon shape to create focal points.  Also, I added a tiny bow on the upper side of the tag and stamped the Spanish sentiment included on the No Probllama stamp set.

Feeling Slothy? Just Hang In There!

Hello there Joy Clair friends!  It's Kerry here and I'm back to share another cutie-patootie card!  Have you seen the new "Feeling Slothy" stamp set?  It's an adorable set that includes several sloths with precariously perched coffee mugs.  I suppose these sloths move exxxtrraaa slowly so they don't spill the juice of the Gods right?  I think so!  Hee hee.  Anyway, these careful critters are too cute and I selected this one trying to balance his coffee on his bum.  It's the perfect resting spot when you're lounging on a tree branch!  

The set comes with an assortment of punny sentiments.  I selected the cute "Hang in there" to remind myself during difficult times, to just keep trucking along.  Things will get better.  

I colored the slothy image with Copic markers and then added a few bits of white Gel pen for shadow.  I also diecut a frame (from The Cat's Pajamas) out of white cardstock, stamped the sentiment in the oval "leftovers" and added a few leaf images (also included in the set).  Next, I distressed this frame using some light gray ink to give it a more matching "grayness" to the printed paper.  Oh, by the way, if you're wondering where the paper is from, it's from my crafty hoard of 6x6 paper pads.  This one in particular comes from the Christmas (yep!) set called "Vintage Christmas" by My Minds Eye.  I love their papers...even if they are retired!  

To finish off my card, I added a little green ribbon and some buttons...You know how I love these fun embellishments!  Thanks for popping over today!  I hope you were inspired by my creation today and were also inspired by the sentiment...Just keep going!  :)

Scrapbooking with Joy Clair~

Hi, Connie here, with a couple of scrapbook pages, using stamps to make embellishments for the pages.  Who would have thought, right!!!  First up is a page created using the Best Dad Ever set by Joy Clair.  So perfect for this page!

The four pictures were grouped together on a 5"x 7" sheet of photo paper and then matted on white cardstock.  The tool border was stamped using two different colors of ink and then trimmed out.  The tool border worked perfect to add interest to the photos.  After all they were using tools to build a bike ramp.

The images, in the set, worked great for this page.  The ruler created a label that looks great as part of the title for the page.  The Typewriter Font set was used to stamp the name inside the ruler image. The tape measure and hammer were stamped, colored and then trimmed for extra embellishments, to enhance the title of the page.  Stamps make it so easy to add embellishments to pages.

I also used the sentiment, as an embellishment flag, and then added paint so it stands out!!  

This page used several different sets.  Just took pieces and added them to help tell the story of the page.  The Going Places set was used for the travel direction arrows.  The balloons, from the same set, were stamped and used in random places.  

The Wild Free card has four more photos inside.  Neat way to add more space for photos.  

The banner from the, newly released, No Prob-Llama set makes a great celebration image.  The #disney was stamped using the Typewriter Font.
When creating scrapbook pages, stamps make the best embellishments.  Just stamp out, color, trim and make as many as you want.  Cool, unique, one of a kind embellishments for your one of a kind page.
