Joy Clair and Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop

Hello there Joy Clair friends (and Coffee Loving Cardmakers!) It's Kerry here and I'm excited to share a pretty fall creation for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers annual Fall/WInter blog hop!  This year, Joy Clair is a super sponsor and we're thrilled to be sharing projects with you throughout the week.  I created this pretty fall card featuring two DEELISH stamp sets.  I used Christmas Cocoa (the cup) and the new Fall Greetings set to create my fun and festive card.

I also used the deelish inks (Summertime and Nocturne) from Imagine Crafts to stamp the designs for my card.  The sparkly embossing was achieved with MBoss Hologram embossing powder.  

A closer peek at the background shows the stamping I created using the little berries and leaves in the Fall stamp set.  It also shows some of the yummy embossing.  This hologram embossing powder gives a nice silvery holographic look and it sparkles with many colors.  SO pretty! I applied the same stamped berries on the cup as well before adding the embossing.  

To finish off my card, I added some taupe satin ribbon and applied some bling (that I colored with a rusty orange Copic marker).  I stamped a few additional leaves so that I could let them gently fall on the card.

Coffee Talk and the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop...Let's do this!

Hello there Joy Clair friends!  It's Kerry here and I'm sharing a project for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Are you playing along?  Joy Clair is a Super Sponsor again and we're excited to join the fun in the hop!  Make sure you hop over to the Coffee Lovers Blog Post HERE to check out the hop!  I hope you've been enjoying the coffee-licous creations so far!  As a coffee lover myself, I've been waiting for this hop since the conclusion of the last hop!  The Coffee Lovers Blog hops are so fun and full of inspiration (and encouragement to shop, shop, shop) don't you think?  

Today, I'm sharing a card featuring the foam art in the Coffee Talk stamp set.  I'm also featuring the deelish cardstock from Bazzill Basics!

To create this card, I used the following Bazzill Basics Paper:  

Bazzill Basics Bling:  Regal 

Bazzill Basics Pale Rose

I cut a 12x12 piece of Pale Rose Cardstock up so that I would have a 5x5 square card base and a 4x4 piece to stamp on.  

I cut a 12x12 piece of Regal Blingy cardstock so that I would have a piece of 4.5 x 4.5 to use as a layer.  

I also used a scrap of printed paper from a retired My Minds Eye printed paper pad called Vanity Fair.  

I started out by cutting my Pale Rose cardstock into a 5x5 card base.  I also cut a panel that was 4x4 so that I could splatter some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide over it.  When I was satisfied with the splatter of the ink and some water, I blasted it with my heat gun so that it would dry quickly.  Then I stamped the heart pattern foam art over it using white ink.  Next, I dried it again and rubbed some Gold Pan Pastel over that.  Next, I used my Misti to stamp the additional heart design foam art with some dark chocolate ink onto a scrap of white cardstock.  I fussy cut the foam art and rubbed it with some Gold Pan Pastel to get it shimmery and started to assemble the card.  

I tilted the paper a bit so you could see the deelish metallic sheen on my paper.  Just love how it transforms a regular card into something so elegant.  

After arranging the printed paper and the foam onto the card front, I stamped the MMMM...sentiment onto the card, attached the bling cardstock and wrapped this panel with a yummy mocha satin ribbon.  I then attached this panel onto the card base using foam squares.  

And there you have it!  A perfecty gorgeous card to share with a coffee loving friend!  Thanks so much for hopping over and enjoy the rest of the hop!  

More Coffee please, with Joy Clair~

Hi, Connie here with another Coffee inspired card set, using the new set by Joy Clair called Coffee And Jesus.  We are still blog hopping with the Coffee Lover's Spring/Summer Blog Hop. Check it out~Along with Coffee themed projects, I will be creating with Bazzill Basics cardstock all month long.   Bazzill cardstock is a very durable cardstock and the colors are amazing!!  I created a coffee themed card set using pattern paper by Bazzill.  It has swirls of bright gold foil and looks beautiful as the background for Coffee And Jesus stamps by Joy Clair. 

The cards are about 5"x 5", double matted with the reverse side of the pattern paper, which is a matching solid color.   The stamped images are stamped on white cardstock with archival ink.  The travel coffee mug is colored with alcohol markers and adhered to the sentiment.   Twine is added to the bottom of each card.


Love the dark blue, the richness of the color, paired with the lime green cardstock.  The travel coffee mug has a rose pattern, making it easy to bring in the color to the image.
