Any kind of 3-D element on a card is a good thing. I created this card with two sets of stamps in no time! Every time I see a poinsettia I think of the 1970's. Ugly sweaters were big back then and back in now. Nothing is better than mixing the two on a card.
Creating the poinsettia was simple with this stamp set and embossing powder. The raised edges make it easy to fussy cut.
The background was fun to create! I really wanted to resemble a 1970 era, so the Ugly Sweater Background stamp was perfect. I used two different colored ink pads and a stamp platform to get it even.
Here is a video I created on how to create this card.
In the video I messed up. This is how I covered it!
This was such a fun card to make! It has turned out to be my favorite Christmas card I have created this year.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!

Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here, from Crafting While Caffeinated Blog & YouTube Channel, and I am so excited for today's card! I have had this idea for awhile, but just didn't have the time to create it. When I first seen the Sprinkled with Love stamp set, I knew I wanted to try and create the look of a box full of donuts on a card - with a see through "lid" or front of the card and full of donuts on the inside. And since the front was going to be see through anyway, I figured it would make a fun shaker card! Keep reading below to see how I did it!
To start with this card you need a card base (A2) and another A2 sized cardstock panel. Then with a die, I used an oval but a circle, rectangle, etc. will work, cut the center out of both the panel and the card base. I like to line up the card base and panel on top of one another and die cut both at the same time so they are perfectly even!
The next stamp is the stamping and coloring, but unlike other cards, you want to stamp on the inside of the card base. Using the large donut from the Sprinkled with Love stamp set, stamp the inside of the card base. Some of the stamps will overhand the sides. Use whatever ink will play nicely with your coloring medium! Then color! I used colored pencils to color in just where the opening is, but you can color as much or as little as you want.
This next step is totally optional, but I really like the look of adding a frame. You can use ANY nesting die set to create a frame. Using the same die that you die cut your opening and one slightly larger, tape them together with the larger die on the outside and the smaller inlaid inside. Then you can cut as many frames as you want and they will be exactly the same! I die cut two frames, one for the outside and the second for the inside to highlight the colored portion.
The last step before putting the shaker together is to do any stamping on the outside that you may want. I used the "You're Sweet" sentiment and stamped it onto the acetate with Staz On Pigment ink.
Finally, it's time to put everything together. Add acetate to the back of the panel and the front of the card base. Be sure the acetate is large enough to cover the opening fully. On the card base, add foam adhesive taking care to be sure the ends are touching and NO GAPS are left. Finally, add your shaker bits (I used White Sprinkles) and then lay the panel over the base to lock everything into place!
I hope you all enjoyed a look at this easy see through shaker card! The Sprinkled with Love set is so cute and just perfect for this technique! I love the look of an actual box of donuts!!
If you are interested in the stamp set I used today, you can find it linked down below. Until next time, happy crafting!!
It's Jess here today with a fun new card to share! Since I have been in Christmas mode, I decided to take a quick step away and make something NON Christmas using a newer release stamp set. Football season is in full swing, so a football card seemed totally appropriate. I used the "Fall Family Football" stamp set to create this card. I love this set - it's a perfect fall/masculine/sporting themed set! Great sentiments for all occasions - and you can modify it to apply to most sports too!
I stamped the football, helmet and sentiment stamps onto some white cardstock and colored with my Nuvo Markers, then cut them out. I used some football field themed patterned paper to stamp a random pattern background using quite a few of the images from the set.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope that you enjoyed my card. Be sure to grab your fave JOY CLAIR stamps today! I promise, you will have so much fun using them!
See you again really soon! Hugs!!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps sharing a card I created using the Joy Clair Stamps the trees and the sentiment came from the stamp set called "Merry Christmoose ", the birds are from the stamp set called "Noah's Ark".
Here is my card and how I created it.
My card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), the black layer is 4 1/8 x 5 3/4. I cut the top layer at 3 5/8 x 5 and masked a small circle with masking paper where I wanted the moon and used distress inks on the background. I stamped the trees and the sentiment with Versafine Clair Onyx Black. After everything dried I sprayed the background with Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray Sparkle.

I am up with my Resolutions card for Joy Clair. Today I choose two different stamp sets, New Year New Me and Born to Sparkle, two of my forever favorites. Let me start with the first, My Resolution card.
The base and second layer of this card are basic black card stock. I used a Hero Arts stencil with IzinK Diamon Turquoise from Aladine to decorate the second layer of the card. After the Izink dried, I resized the layer and pasted it directly over the basic black card base. I love the glitter touch that this added to my card and turquoise is a great color to start a new life.
My next card also have my favorite colors, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the stones included on the stamp set Born to Sparkle using different colors of Delicata Ink from Imagine over a Very Vanilla card stock. To obtain the sync with all images, I used the Wreath builder from Gina K. I pasted this layer directly over the Melon Mambo card base.
In a separate piece of Daffodil Delight card stock I stamped one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Born to Sparkle with VersaMark and MBoss Embossing Powder New Years Eve from Imagine. This color of embossing powder add the perfect sparkle touch to my card along with the two metallic strips that I added to this piece. To finalize the card, I added the Daffodil Delight piece with double sided foam tape.
This is my last post for this year with Joy Clair. I have wonderful news for 2020 and many changes are around the corner for this fabulous brand. Thanks for been always with us and for your continue support. Keep in touch and be part of my new adventure!

Hello there Joy Clair fans! It's Kerry here and I'm back to share another fun project featuring the gorgeous Christmas set called The Reason. It's one of my most favorite Christmas sets. This set includes angels trumpeting their Heavenly praises and Mary/Joseph/baby Jesus and several perfectly perfect sentiments for this joyous season. I just love it!!!
I wanted this card to focus primarily on Mary/Joseph and baby Jesus so I kept the rest of the background pretty plain (and white). I did add some elegant reds/golds for the patterned paper on the bottom to help coordinate with the clothing. Of course, I had to add some sparkle too so I added a strip of golden glitter paper separating the patterned paper and the white paper. I also gave Mary and baby Jesus' golden halos a bit of shimmer and shine with some microfine glitter. I colored the image with Copic markers and tried to give the images a watercolor-like treatment so I didn't blend perfectly with this image. To finish my card off, I tied some satin ribbon around the image and mounted it onto a burgundy card base.
Thanks for hopping over to check out my card. I hope it inspires you to create something perfect for this season. See you again soon!

Hi, Connie here with a Christmas card using the, very pretty and elegant set called 3D Christmas Poinsettiaby Joy Clair. I love all the extra Poinsettia flower petals making it easy to layer the petals into a full flower with lots of dimension. I used Distress Oxide inks and watered them down treating them like water colors to color the petals.
The background, for the card, is Distress Oxides watered down and dabbed on the cardstock. I dry the ink after each color is added. It is really fun to layer the colors to get the exact look you like. I added stencils and modeling paste for more interest and dimension. The flower petals were stamped on white cardstock, colored and then trimmed out. The Poinsettia flower was put together with a small brad and adhered to the card front with strong adhesive. The card is outlined using a white gel pen. The tag is created and attached to the card front using dimensional adhesive.
The Poinsettia flower petals are coated with a glitter pen (not showing in the picture). The berries are acrylic red paint, applied with the small end of the stylus. Works great and no mess!! These 3D Poinsettia flowers are really fun to make and look gorgeous on projects!
Supplies used: stamps: Joy Clair/ 3D Christmas Poinsettia stencils: ARTplorations/stencils by Helen G. paper: cardstock adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L ink: Distress Oxide, Versa fine Clair/Nocturne modeling paste: Faber Castell twine, white gel pen

Can you believe it is already December? The holidays seem to come so fast these days, especially from Thanksgiving to Christmas seems like it's only a few days apart. The winter is always so dreary so I decided I would create some bright holidays cards to lift some spirits of those at the nursing home that we visit each month. This month we will be taking them some small blankets and socks and I will add some of these bright Christmas cards.
In a separate piece of very vanilla card stock, I stamped two other images. The three is from the stamp set Happy Camper and the fabulous car from the Refuel my Soul from the Color by Faith Collection. I colored the images with Illustrators Markers from Spectrum Noir. I fussy cut the images and pasted over the decorated card base.
For my second card I used the tone to tone technique. I stamped some of the borders included on the stamp set Ugly Sweeter with Memento Rhubarb onto red card stock. Then, I resized the layer with the Embossed Edge Rectangle Die and pasted it directly over the card.
I die cut several layers of the Joy Etched Die from Spellbinders using Garden Green card stock. I pasted all the pieces on the same place to give more dimension to the die cut image an finalized the card, adding on top of the decorated card base the die cut.
My third card is using the stamp set Vintage Christmas Ornaments. I stamped several times one of the branches included on the same stamp set using two different colors of green Memento Ink. Then I resized the layer with a medium size of the Embossed Edge Rectangle Die. After that, I inked the entire layer with a soft touche of green ink and I pasted this layer over the card base using double sided foam tape.
In a separate piece of Very Vanilla card stock, I stamped one of the ornament images included on the stamp set Vintage Christmas Ornaments using Early Espresso Classic Ink. With Illustrator markers the border of the ornament and with Memento Rhubarb stamped the sentiment on the center of the ornament. To embellish the card I die cut one tiny bow onto red glitter paper using one die from the Spellbinders Large Club.
