Recently I have been intrigued by the difference between pigment and dye ink. Pigment ink sits on top of the paper where as dye ink soaks in and colors the paper. Pigment ink, in theory, should work on both dark and light paper since it does not soak in. So, I ran a little experiment. I stamped the same image with the same image on both light and dark paper. I embossed each image with clear embossing powder and added used distress crayons just to see how it would work. Here are the results:
My intention in creating these was not to make a masterpiece card. I simply wanted to see how The Radiant Neon collection by Imagine would work on both varying in color substrates. I thought the Crystal Clear Background stamp
would work well with this as well as the coordinating set You're A Gem.
The neon ink worked beautifully on both colors. It produced a vibrant image!
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
Thanks for the examples! I will have to try this!
