Hello there Joy Clair friends! Today I'm hopping in to share a card I created featuring the new set "Wish Big". This set lends very nicely to the CAS style with a large floral garden and a few little insects to flutter here and there. The sentiments are quite varied in size and content too. I decided to use the floral garden and the little butterfly as well as the small sentiment.
After stamping with RG Avenue Black Taffy ink, I colored the images with Leisure Arts Learn to Handletter markers. While I didn't handletter with them, I found the small bullet tip quite easy to color the flowers with. I also used the brush end on my craft mat and added some water so that I could splatter some color here and there. The color is sweet and soft, and doesn't overpower the image.
I mounted my image onto a piece of green cardstock that I diecut the grass from. This little grass diecut was placed onto the bottom of the "garden" and a little bit of krafty twine was tied at the base. This whole panel was glued to a white card base to complete my card.
Such a pretty card! :)
