Hello there Joy Clair friends! It's Kerry here and I'm back with another crafty creation featuring Joy Clair stamps and Leisure Arts markers. I had so much fun creating this mixed media card and love the sentiment that inspired it. I used the new stamp set "Shadow of the Almighty" in this creation.
To start things off, I pulled out three colors of Leisure Arts markers (on sale NOW!) and rubbed each one on my craft mat. I then added some water and used a paint brush to flick the color onto the cardstock. After that, I pulled out my Gelli Plate and painted some black acrylic paint onto the plate. I applied my paper to this plate and lifted the color. I then applied some ivory acrylic paint to my Gelli Plate and lifted that onto the card panel too. Next, I added some Brushed Gold Pan pastel to give a hint of shimmer. I then flicked more marker watercolor over that then set it aside to dry. I stamped the sentiment using my Misti and attached some polkadotty ribbon and a sequin/sparker. Then I thought I'd add some of the black dots to mimic the ribbon (and my cute coffee mug). I mounted this sentiment onto the inky panel and then mounted some graph paper to a white card base. Finally, I attached the stamped/painted panel to the card base and called it DONE!
