Today I want to share an easy and quick bible journaling page that I made using on of the Gather Together stamp set by Color by Faith from Joy Clair and colored with the Double Ended Markers from Leisure Arts.
I have a package of 60 color Double Ended Markers from Leisure Arts. They are good to color over coloring books or hard paper surfaces but for the bible paper they are very strong hindering the mixture of colors. This does not mean that you can not use them, you can use and enjoy your markers, just taking care of your paper and combinations.
PROCESS:
The first thing that I made, was stamp the images from the stamp set Gather Together onto my Bible with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then, here is technique, I colored my craft mat with my selection of colors from the Leisure Arts Double Ended Markers.
I colored the mat color by color and with a blender pen, I took the ink from the mat and transferred it to my design on the bible journaling. It let me to mix the colors and gave a soft touch, just like the paper requires.
The process was consuming time but I enjoy my time making this bible journaling page. At the end, I enhanced some details of my coloring using the Watercolor Pencils from Leisure Arts. Also, using this technique I got the control of the colors/ink.
