Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you.
I am super excite with my today post, I am featuring a new stamp set from Joy Clair over Rinea Foiled Paper, one of my favorites combinations.
Mermaid at Heart is a new stamp set from Joy Clair that was releases a week ago and as soon I received it I was totally sure that I wanted to use with Rinea Foiled Paper. My ideas was not clear but I love the different shades that we can get using Rinea Foiled on stamped images.
I stamped the Mermail Tail image from the Mermaid at Heart stamp set over different colors of Rinea Foiled Paper using Snowflake StazOn Pigment Ink. The colors of Rinea Foiled paper that I used were Fuchsia/Gold, Sapphire/Gold, Gold/Gold and Violet/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. I let the ink dry and fussy cut the images with scissors.
To create the faux watercolored background, I just colored my mat with the new Double Ended Markers from Leisure Arts. I used different tones of blue and sprayed the mat with Ink Potion No. 9. If you are not familiar with the Ink Potion No. 9, it is blending solution from Imagine that help the migration of any water based ink or marker. I let the paper dry naturally and resized using the Making Waves Cover die from Mama Elephant. For the sentiment I used Paris Dusk Memento Ink.
Then, I pasted the cover die with double sided foam tape over the card base and splattered it with two different colors of Fireworks. I arranged the the foiled stamped images inside of the waves and decorated with some blue droplets.
Thank you for stopping by and remember that you can also stamp over the foiled paper, just experiment with different inks and different images to obtain an extraordinary effect.
These paper are just gorgeous, perfectly paired with the darling images.
