Hello, creative friends, and welcome by the Joy Clair Blog today. This month, along with all my teammates at Joy Clair Stamps, we're showcasing more of the fabulous New Release stamps in coordination with our friends over at Rinea Foils. I'll be the first to admit that working with foils is not my area of expertise. If you want to see some truly amazing and creative things that were created using Joy Clair and the Rinea Foils, be sure to visit the Joy Clair Blog this month to see all of my teammates' awesome projects. As for me.....well, I did the best with what I had. Like I said, I had no idea what I was doing. But that doesn't mean you can't still have fun, right?I used the Princess Foiled Variety Pack from Rinea Foils to create this first card. I used a die-cut to cut the layers of the flowers from each of the pretty colors found in the Princess Foiled Variety Pack. I also used the papers from the Princess Foiled Variety Pack to create the background and the die-cut borders going across the card. I stamped my sentiment (Thanks) directly onto the Foil Paper using the sweet new Fall Greetings Stamp Set.
I'm sharing a second card with you today. I adore the new Mermaid At Heart Stamp Set. It's SO cute!! I stamped the seaweed in greens, and I sprayed the background with a turquoise glittery oxide ink. Some areas are extra glittery and it made the letters photograph strangely. But it looks super cool in real life. I stamped the mermaid fin and colored it using the fabulous 60-Pack Double Ended Markers from our friends over at Leisure Arts. This is such a fun package of markers.
As I mentioned, don't forget to stop by the Joy Clair Blog often this month to check out more of the fabulous projects combining Joy Clair Stamps and Rinea Foils. You'll learn some really cool new ways to use Foils/foil papers and also catch a look at all the fabulous new stamp sets being released this month at Joy Clair Stamps. Isn't this new Mermaid at Heart Stamp Set fun?
Please don't forget about the Joy Clair New Release BLOG HOP on August 30 where you'll be inspired, see all the fabulous New Release Stamp Sets, and a whole lot more....so be sure to stop by often. New Releases are always LOTS of fun at Joy Clair Stamps. You can see my personal blog post here on My Blog.

Karen

I have a few Rinea foil papers and they are so pretty and easy to work with. LOVE the floral card; sooo pretty! And the mermaid tail is fabulous, of course.
