Hi crafty friends. Martha Lucia here with you.
This post is to celebrate a fantastic Cross Promotion between Joy Clair Stamps and Therm-o-web that we are started today with the participation of both design teams. Today, I have some Flock Transfer Sheet Stamped Cards to show.
I have the opportunity to see a lot of demonstrations of the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets during the Creativation Event realized on January 2019. But to be honest, I forgot how fantastic is to work with the Deco Flock Transfer Sheets and combine them with die cuts, stencils, stamps and more. My first card is a Halloween card that I created using a stencil from Rebecca Baer, the stamp set October Fun from Joy Clair and Flock Transfer Sheet Purple Punch from Therm-o-web. Let me share the quick steps:
- Secure your stencil over your card stock. I used the Pixie Spray from Thermoweb that is designed to use with stencils. It is a temporal adhesive that hold it in place but won’t tear paper or leave a sticky residue behind.
- Cover the free areas of the stencil with Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Remove your stencil and put the stencil in water or clean immediately. Let the gel dry naturally, it can take one around one hour.
- When the transfer gel is totally dry cover the piece with one piece of flock transfer sheet. Put the color down.
- Prepare the sandwich for your laminator machine or Minc. I used the minc and set it up in #4.
- Past the sandwich twice, one time for each side.
- Open your sandwich and voila, the felt is now in the area covered by transfer gel.
To decorate my card, I used the stamp set October Fun. I stamped two of the images included on the October Fun stamp set onto Vellum card stock using StazOn Pigment Ink Piano Black. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and finalized with a Glitter Dust Vintage Frame Silver. After remove the Purple Punch Folk Transfer Sheet from the stenciled layer and see how beautiful was the negative piece, I decided to make a second card. Using that piece.
I continued with the Halloween idea, and just resized the Flock Transfer Sheet and pasted it over a whisper white card base. To finalize the decoration, with a zig zag stitched circle die cut from Kat Scrappiness, I cut a circle from Orange Glow Flock Transfer Sheet and decorated the center with one of the images included on the stamps set Creeping it Real from Joy Clair. I stamped the image with VersaFine Nocturned.
My third card was using the same technique. This time I used Flock Transfer Sheets Black Velvet from Thermoweb with a heart stencil from Stampin Up and the stamp set Scriptures of Love, from the Color by Faith Collection of Joy Clair.
I embellished my card using a set of zig zag stitched hearts and layered nesting hearts from Kat Scrappiness.
My last card was made using the Black Velvet Flock Transfer Sheet in combination with the stamp set Get Well Wishes and the Glitter Dust Photo Frame Gold.
I colored the images of the Get Well Wishes stamp set with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and stamped the sentiment over the Glitter Dust Photo Frame using StazOn Pigment Ink.

I love the HANG IN THERE...it reminds me of the poster we had in the 1970s--HANG IN THERE, BABY. So cute.
