Hello Friends! Betz Golden here today with a set of ATC's using the new releases! I learned about Artistic Trading Cards a decade ago. When I first was asked to create them I was terrified! At the time I was strictly a scrapbooker. The thought of working on such a small scale baffled me. I soon discovered how enjoyable it was to create such a small canvas. Ten years later I just can not stop making them. I have several three ring binders full of them -- mostly from my crafty friends! These are meant to be traded.
I set a goal to create one ATC with each new stamp set I got. A lot of times when I get a stamp set it immediately is put away and eventually forgotten. An ATC is an easy way to use a stamp set that takes relatively little time. An ATC stands for Artistic Trading Card. It is basically the equivalent of a baseball card to sprots fans only to artists! 2.5 by 3.5 is the size, so it is a much smaller substrate than most people are comfortable working on -- this stretching one's creativity.
As a designer for Joy Clair, I am blessed to receive all the new releases. I used them to create these ATCs.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
