Hello everyone! Helen is here... Have you seen the newly released stamp sets and inspirations from my teammates this month? Today, I have some more fun pun birthday card ideas to share with you all!
On my first card, I use the new Baby Shark Stamp Set. This cute stamp set is for all occasions themed projects.
I have been having some fun with alcohol inks lately. And tried this technique for the ocean look background with Stream alcohol ink, alcohol ink blending solution, and Ranger glossy cardstock. When the background panel dried, I added it on a white card with E-Z Grand adhesive runner.
For the frame, I cut out 2 sizes of the Fancy Frames Die Set and I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.
I stamped both shark images on a watercolor cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad and then I colored them with Tombow Dual Marker and water brush. I stamped a bow tie on one of the shark image with the same ink pad.
I dried the watercolor paint with craft heater and then I cut them with micro-tip scissors. I added the sharks inside the frame with permanent adhesive glue.
Then, I stamped some of the bubbles image around the sharks with Hero Art Unicorn White Pigment Ink. I dried the ink quickly with craft heater.
I stamped the sentiments on a white cardstock with VersaFine Warm Breeze Ink Pad and then I trimmed them into sentiment strips. I added them on the card with 3D foam tape.
I embellished the card with some white clear gems for extra bubbly look.
For the second fun pun birthday card, I use the newly released No Probllama Stamp Set. Isn't that Llama adorable???
I started with stamping the confetti image directly on the white card base using the VersaFine Clair Ink Pads. The rainbow colors I use are: Tulip Red, Summer Time, Cheerful, Verdant and Summer Breeze. I set it aside to dry while working on the images.
I stamped the banner and llama on a watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, and I stamped the cactus image with the VersaFine Clair Green Oasis. After that I dried the inks with craft heater.
I colored all the images with Sakura Koi Watercolor Paints and waterbrush. I dried them with craft heater and then fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors. I decorate the blanket on the Llama with some small red gems.
I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne on a green cardstock, and then I cut it with the bubble stitched die.
I added each of them on the card with permanent adhesive glue. I added a piece of natural twine ribbon to the cactus to make it look like the piñata hanging down from the banner.
I had so much fun making these birthday cards. I hope you all also like these cards... SO... how about you? What type of card you like to make?
So cute, Helen. Love the pun shark sentiment! And also the
cactus as a piñata is perfect! That llama is adorable.
