There are two things (well more than two, but these are my favorite) I adore about Joy Clair Stamps. The sass and the extensive collections for creating in the Bible. I love to use the stamps in my Bible. The time I spend creating a page is worship for me. It is when God reveals things to me that I may not understand without arting in my Bible. I usually pull out my Essential oil and listen to KLove as I create. Not only are these stamps great for their intended purpose -- Bible art, they are wonderful for creating cards to encourage others. I created two cards about wisdom. One is for my daughter during finals week and one is for my Mom.
For each card I used three pieces of Bazzil Card stock and embossing powder. To create the background on the first card I randomly stamped the glasses and open book with embossing ink and embossed it in gold. I used the book shelf to create the background to the title by stamping it three times, embossing it in gold and coloring it in with colored pencils. By layering the different textures of Bazzil card stock it gave it a finished look
For this card, I die cut a frame with Bazzil card stock and embossed it in gold. For the title I stamped it with black ink and used an oval die cut. The little glasses were stamped, fussy cut out and a little clear glaze added to them to make them shine -- just like real glasses!
I did add Dew Drops to each card to give each a little more personality.
I encourage you the next time you create in your Bible ask God if there is anyone that would benefit from a card. If He lays someone on your heart, make them one! God gave you a creative gene and we should use it to glorify Him and encourage others in Him.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
