Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying this month long collaboration with Bazzill Basics and a look at all of the fun cardstock they have to offer. Today I am sharing a different way to use that cardstock and that is to make fun patterned backgrounds! These were the perfect addition to the brand new No Prob-Llama stamp set! Be sure to watch the video tutorial down below for all the details on how to put these three different backgrounds together!
Each of these backgrounds uses the same colors of cardstock and are put together in the same way, it's just about HOW you position them that makes all the difference. I started these cards by cutting five different colors of card stock from the Bazzill Basics line into A2 size and then from there I cut them into strips. There were no measurements, I just started cutting some thinner strips, some thicker and some in between!
You can use liquid adhesive to adhere these cardstock strips down, but I like to cover my panel in double sided adhesive. I use sheets from Scrapbook.com, but you could also use a tape runner or like I said use liquid adhesive and adhere each strip individually. This step is where you really get to have fun and play around! There are so many different patterns you could make! I made three different backgrounds today, and be sure to watch the video above for all the details on how I put each one together!
These backgrounds were so bright and colorful I knew they were perfect to pair with the new No Probllama Stamp Set. I stamped three of the llamas and colored each one. After fussy cutting my colored images I popped them up with dimensional adhesive onto the backgrounds. And after adding the panels onto card bases I popped on sentiment strips to finish off the cards!
I hope you all enjoyed today's video tutorial! If you are interested in any of the supplies I used on my cards today, you can find them all linked down below! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
