Hello...hello...hello... Helen is here today with these couple of masculine themed projects using Joy Clair new released stamps and Bazzill Basics Paper.
Father's day is only couple of weeks away. My daughters and I like to make fun handmade gifts and cards for their fantastic dad. Today, I would like to share these 2 Father's Day cards with you all.
On this first card, I used the Atlantic cardstock to make the A2 card. I stamped the Tools Background stamp on Jawbreaker cardstock with HA White Pigment ink pad using MISTI. I dried the stamped image with craft heater and then I cut it with Double Stitched Rectangles Dies. I added the panel on the card with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.
I cut out the Heart pattern cardstock with one of the Stars Nesting Dies and I added it on the card with thin glue dots.
For the sentiment, I stamped the tape image from the Best Dad Ever stamp set with VersaFine Clair Blue Belle ink pad on Classic Smooth White cardstock with Mini MISTI, and then I fussy cut it with scissors. I added the sentiment on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
This second card is a Z-Fold card. I cut out the French Mint cardstock in to 4.25" x 11". Then, I scored and folded it in to a Z-fold shape. There are several ways of making Z-Fold card but this is the basic one that I use to make my card.
I use the Green Dotted Swiss cardstock and Green/Gold Marble cardstock as the mats on the card. And I cut 2 more of the Fresh Mint cardstock to use as sentiment panels.
On both of the sentiment panels, I stamped the border image from the Best Dad Ever stamp set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink pad on both top and bottom using MISTI. And then, I stamped the sentiments in between the border images with VersaFine Clair ink pads, too.
I added the panel inside (or back) of the card first, and then I lined up the front panel on top of it but only glued the bottom of the panel.
It is a fun to make this Z Fold card and I kindda like the idea that the recipients can display it on their desk or shelf. How about you? Do you like making fun-fold cards?
I hope you all like these masculine themed projects today and hopefully they inspire you to make something special for your loved ones.
