Hello Everyone, It's Ceal and am back to share a card with yo that uses one of our new release stamps. As you may remember in my first monthly post it was before release day so I had to hold off on using one of the sets for my post. What do you think of this release?? Aren't these some fabulous stamps? I am loving them!
When I saw this Baby Shark set, this card design immediately came to mind. It was a bit tedious but so fun to create it. here's how I did it.I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller and a piece of black Bazzell card stock as my mat, as I had said before we are collaborating the whole month of May with Bazzell so you will be seeing us use their papers on our projects. I randomly stamped the baby shark image to cover the panel and colored them using Copic markers in C01, C02 and E4. Next is the tedious part, for the water bubbles I created a mask for the sharks and then stamped the bubbles using Gina K Sea Glass ink. After I got the background done I removed the masks and then used Crystalline Drops by Gina K to give them that "wet" shine. here is a close up.
For the greeting, he word birthday is from the Hello Sentiments set but the rest is from the Baby Shark set. I placed a piece of black card stock by Bazzell in the Original Misti and stamped the greeting using using Versamark ink and then embossed them in white. I used the Cut-Align by My Sweet Petunia to get the strip the size I wanted it and then attached it to the card front using foam tape.
