Hello all, Monica here with an Easter project using a mini box from the Cutting Cafe and Joy Clair's Easter Greetings set! I just love images and sentiments in this set.
I started by printing a PDF version of the box and it's top. Then used it as a template to trace, cut and score the cardstock I picked for the box.
Once I was done with the cutting and scoring, I folded the box on the scored areas so to make its corners easier to see for stamping.
I taped the top of the box off, so that I would only stamp the image on the top of the lid. I stamped it using a yellow that was slightly darker than the cardstock to keep it as back ground image. This helped to keep my sentiment standing out against the background as you will see in a later picture.
The for the main portion of the box I used a pink ink ( the same I use on the sentiment) to stamp two sides and used some pattern paper in coordinating colors to decorate the opposite sides.
Once the stamping was done and the paper was on I folded up the box and glued it together, doing the same to the lid. I then added some ribbon and a bow to the lid to complete it!
It is a mini box, but great for holding small amounts of candy as you can see in the picture above. These would be great to hand out to co workers for Easter!
Until next time,
Monica!
So pretty for Easter treats.
