Hello there Joy Clair friends! It's Kerry here and I'm back with a masculine beauty today. I needed a masculine card and pulled the gorgeous Living Water stamp set. I also dug deep into my 6x6 paper packs collection and found a perfect paper collection in the My Minds Eye Lost and Found Two collection called Breeze. I love this paper and have been hoarding it because I just can't bear to cut it up. I don't think I'm alone in this problem...How about you?
Anyway, this paper pack helped me select the perfect colors to make this card come to life. I stamped the deer and colored it with a collection of Copic markers then assembled the card base. You can't see it here but the card has a sheen of gold PanPastel all over it. It's pretty elegant for a manly card...But they deserve elegance sometimes too!
I assembled the decorative paper panel with a bit of dark brown backing then mounted that onto some plaid paper from the pack. Then, I added the sentiment to this panel. After that, I added some olive ribbon that matched the paper and popped that deer right onto the card.
The sentiments (scripture) are so perfect...I had to include one. To finish my card off, I mounted the decorative panel onto a golden card base.
Thanks for hopping over to check out my project. I hope it inspires you today! See you again real soon!
Loved this card the first time I saw it. So gorgeous!
