Let's take a Spring Stroll...

Hello there Joy Clair friends! It's Kerry here and I'm back to share a pretty little Spring card with you featuring one of our newest sets: Spring Stroll. This set includes many fun images to welcome spring: an umbrella, a floral swag, a bike and a pretty little heart banner. It also has some great and useful sentiments.

To create my card, I started out by stamping the heart banner several times onto a piece of white cardstock. I colored it with some cheerful Copic colors and then set it aside to work on the bicycle. Next, I selected the bike to create a fun background panel. I stamped it in rich blue ink and highlighted with Copics and an opaque white Gelly Roll pen. After finishing the background, I stamped the bike and colored it with my Copics, then fussy cut the bike. I set that aside and started cutting out the yellow flowers. I used an old die from Quickcutz to make the flowers.

Next, I doodled and cut some leaves to tuck around my bicycle and added a green Hemptique twine bow cluster that I could add to the design. The final step was to assemble the card, add the Thank you sentiment and add the embellishing touches. Mounting this panel onto a white card base finished the card off!
