Hello everyone... Helen is here. This month is special, becuase Joy Clair has a collaboration with The Cutting Café. And today, I have a Coffee Queen Gift Card Holder to share with you all.
I use my Silhouette Cameo 3 with the svg cutting files from The Cutting Café. On my gift card holder, I use the Coffee Cup Shaped Card 2 Template Cutting File and Layered Butterflies Cutting File to create the coffee cup shaped card base with butterfly shaker window.
I cut white cardstock for the card base and using peach cardstock for the layer with butterfly shaker window. And using make up sponge, I added some of the Tea Rose Archival Ink around the peach shaped cup for shadow. For the lid, I added the Coffee Archival Ink with make up sponge, too.
For the shaker filler, I use clear jumbo sequins and iridescent sequins that I out inside a plastic pocket and sealed it with double sided tape. I added it on the back of the peach cup with butterfly window with double sided tape and added it on the card base with 3D foam tape.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Coffee Quotes Stamp Set with Tea Rose Archival Mini Ink Pad on a white cardstock and then I fussy cut it with scissors. I added it on the cup with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.
I cut out the flowers from the Layered Flowers Template Cutting Files and butterflies from the Layered Butterflies Cutting File with watercolor paper. And then I colored them with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and Mustard Seed Distress Ink using watercolor smooshing technique. I dried them and then I sprayed some water with distress sprayer and dabbed them off with paper towel to give the distress grundy texture on them.
I added the flower on the lid with permanent adhesive glue and then I wrapped it some natural burlap twine and tie up a bow. I added the lid on the card with permanent adhesive glue and I added some to secure the bow on flower.
On the butterflies, I doodled the middle body and antennas after I added them on the card.
Inside the card, I added the gift card holder pocket that I cut out from the same Coffee Cup Shaped Card 2 Template Cutting File with same peach cardstock.
On the gift card pocket, I stamped the sentiment from the Coffee Talk Stamp Set with Coffee Archival Ink and Jet Black Archival Ink using MISTI tool to create the ombre look.
I added gift card pocket on the inside card with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive.
I like how this gift card holder card turn out... and I hope you all like it, too! Don't forget to check out the other projects from my teammates in this month featuring Joy Clair Stamps and The Cutting Café.
