Congratulations Polaroids - A Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here with you today, sharing a fun video tutorial on how to make this card with a few different sizes of polaroids frames! It's super easy with the Cutting Cafe digital files. And you don't need an electronic cutting machine to use these files, they come in PDF format, too! First and foremost, I printed the frames onto white card stock with my laser printer and then used my paper trimmer to quickly cut them out. I also cut small pieces of watercolor paper to fit behind the openings of the frames. Onto each of the panels I stamped and heat embossed an image from the "Going Places" stamp set. I used Versafine Clair Ink in Nocturne with clear embossing powder. I went with heat embossing so I could quickly and easily watercolor my images with my Arteza Real Brush Pens. I like to have little "wells" so the color doesn't bleed or run! When the panels were colored and dry, I attached them to the frames from behind to give them a polaroid picture look!

To finish the front of the card I added a quick sentiment to the larger frame and popped them both up on a dry embossed background with foam tape. I added the panel to an A2 top folding card base with double sided adhesive and a few black pico embellishments to finish the front!

I always like to bring a little bit of the outside of the card to the inside for a nice finishing look. I used the same Going Places stamp set, stamped onto an extra panel and colored with alcohol markers! I matched the colors to the watercolors I used on the outside so everything looked cohesive.
