Hello everyone,
It's Ceal here with a couple of spring cards to show you. Ya'll spring is finally here! well at least the official date is here. It is supposed to be 29 degrees tonight where I live so that is still winter to me. I am so ready for warmer weather and lots of flowers blooming, though my allergies may not like that. I am just so tired of rainy gloomy days, I need some sunshine and flowers and treats why I created these springy cards using a couple of our new release sets.
The first card uses the Easter Greetings set. To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a Sweet Corn panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. For the background I randomly stamped the image of the lily bouquet to cover the entire panel using Wild Dandelion ink so it would show better. I used the oval single stitched die to cut a white piece of yardstick to use as my focal point. I used the single power image to stamp around the border of the focal piece and then added the greeting from the Spring Stroll set in the center. To finish the card I colored the flowers using Copic Markers in colors Y21 (buttercup Yellow), Y04 (Acacia), G43 (Pistachio)
To create the second card I started with a white top folding card base and a white piece of card stock. Again using the Oval single stitch die I cut out the focal panel. I used the same Easter Greetings Set and created the background in the same way with Innocent Pink ink. For the focal panel this time I stamped the lily bouquet image also in Innocent Pink and then stamped the Happy Easter over it.

Love these cards! The flowers in the background matching the flowers in the focal really make this pop. I plan to follow your ideas soon.
