Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here with you today, sharing another video tutorial. All this month Joy Clair Stamps is partnering with The Cutting Cafe to bring you some awesome inspiration. I do not have an electronic cutting machine, so I will be sharing how to these files without one in my tutorials! And of course, The Cutting Cafe does offer PDF versions of their files so anyone can use them and I was able to make this fun shaped card! You can watch how easy it was in the video below!
First and foremost, I printed the Spring Basket PDF file onto card stock with my laser printer and then fussy cut each image. I printed everything onto white cardstock. I find this easier and then I can color the images with inks. I used my Distress Inks and Make Up Blending Brushes to all the color on this card!
I wanted to add a sentiment to the front of this card, so I used the Easter Greetings Stamp Set and built up a "Spring Greetings" sentiment that I stamped and heat embossed. I also stamped and colored the little bunnies from the set to add to the front of the card!
This card was pretty simple to put together once all the pieces were ready to go. I like to use liquid glue so I have a bit of play time to move things around and make sure they're in the right position. Be sure to watch the video above for all the details on putting this card together!
I hope you all enjoyed today's video tutorial and a look at how easy it is to create a fun shaped card with the Cutting Cafe files without an electronic cutting machine! If you are interested in any of the supplies I used on my card today, you'll find them listed and linked down below! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
