Welcome Spring with Joy Clair

Hello all Monica here again with my second post for February. Today I'm sharing a project using the new stamp set Spring Stroll. I just love all the spring time images in this set, especially with the super cold temps we've had in the Mid west.

I used the corner floral clusters in the set to create a border for my cardbase. I used the full stamp in the for corners of my panel and then partially stamped the same image to fill the areas on the longer side of the card to fill in the border I created.

Then I used the adorable bicycle image as my main image and stamped it on some light blue cardstock. I then used the hello spring (love the two fonts) sentiment form Spring Stroll and stamped it in the top right corner. 

I then colored the images using my Prismacolor color pencils. I picked soft yet spring like colors for the flowers and used the same colors on the bicycle on the blue card stock. I'm not sure what got into me this month... this is the second time I've decided color on colored cardstock, I usually stick to white or more neutral colors. 

I'll admit I like the spring temps, but I'm not ready for it yet. I really love snow, but I could do without the sub zero temps! See you next time,
