Hello everyone... Helen is here today with couple of Spring inspired cards that I created using two of the Joy Clair new release stamp sets.
On my first Spring inspired card, I used the Easter Greetings Stamp Set. This stamp set is super adorable and beautiful with those 2 bunnies and sets of Lily flowers.
Using masking I cut out of scrap paper, I added the Grass Skirt CP Ink on a white cardstock using a blending brush. After that, I cover the top of grass with the mask again and then I added the It's A Boy CP Ink on the cardstock using the blending brush to create the sky background. And then, I sprinkled some water on that background and dabbed it off with paper towel to give it some distress look.
I dried it with craft heater, trimmed it slightly smaller that the card base, and then I added it on the card with permanent adhesive. After that, I stamped the sentiment on the card with Fiesta Blue CP Ink Pad and MISTI.
I stamped the bunnies with Sand Castle CP Ink with MISTI on a watercolor paper. I use waterbrush to color it by picking the color directly from the Over Coffee CP Ink Pad. The colors blended together and turned it out to be no-line watercolor look. With the same coloring technique, I colored the flowers on one of the bunny using Tiara CP Ink Pad.
I dried the bunnies with craft heater and then fussy cut them with micro tips scissors. I added them on the card with 3D foam tape.
I stamped one of the gorgeous flower clusters on a watercolor paper with VersFine Onyx Black using MISTI. And then, I colored it with Arteza Real Brush Pens. The colors from these brush pens blend to each other very well, I do not have to use waterbrush to blend them. But, they are also watercolor brush pens that you can use with watercolor brush. I dried the colored flowers with craft heater and fussy cut it with micro-tips scissors.
I stamped the wood background on a white cardstock using Sand Castle CP Ink Pad and MISTI. And then I trimmed it and added it on a white card with permanent adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock with Sand Castle CP Ink Pad and MISTI, then I trimmed it into sentiment banner, and I added it on the card with permanent adhesive.
Then, I added the colored flower cluster on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension. I embellished the card with some sequins from my stash.
I hope these Spring inspired cards give you some warm feeling inside and hope for a wonderful Spring season to come! Have a blessed, fabulous day!
