Oh the Places You'll Go...

Hello there Joy Clair friends! It's Kerry here and today I'm sharing a little project I created especially for Read Across America Day on March 2. As an Elementary school teacher, this is a very special holiday and it is celebrated in schools nationwide. At my school, it's a big deal! We invite community members in to read their favorite books to classes, we dress up with fun and fabulous Dr. Seuss themed clothing, we play rhyming games, do fun themed academic activities and we create and craft Dr. Seuss projects. Of course, we READ, READ, READ!

I give a special book to my students each year. This book is empty and encourages my students to write like Seuss. To accompany these little books this year, I stamped, colored (with Copics) and prepared some of these fabulous little goodie bags. These bags are the perfect size for this little book.

The Going Places stamp set is a perfect set for this fun celebration. It's also great for Graduations and end of the year crafts! I love the collection of fun images and sentiments!
