Hello everyone and happy Fri-Yay!
It's Ceal, here to share with you today.
Todays card uses another super cute set from our new release, I think you're S'Whale. How cute right!?!
It has 8 images including this super cute whale along with lots of greetings and single words where you can make your own greeting, I was going to make a valentines day card and then realized I needed a get well card for a teen and this stamp set was perfect! This set will make some super cute valentines cards though, I love it when sets are versatile so you are not using them just at one tine of the year. And I absolutely love the pun! I have a son-in-law who loves our so I make cards to send to him on his birthday and other occasions.
To create my card, I started with a white top folding card base and a panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I stamped the whale from the set I Think You're S'Whale and then used a mask to cover it while I created the background.
To create the background I used Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide inks to blend for the ocean. After I achieved the look I wanted I stamped the bubbles and the seaweed also from the I think you're S'Whale set. Next I removed the mask from the whale and then colored it and the seaweed using Copic markers. When I completed coloring them I added some shimmer to the seaweed and some gloss to the bubbles, I have a dded a close up photo so you can see. To finish the card I added the greeting to the left side.
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
