Hello Everyone!! It's Lindsay, from the Design Team, here with you today, and I have two projects to share with you - A Bible Journaling page and also a card! They both have the same design and use the same exact stamp set, "Hosanna", but I really wanted to share with you how to transfer your Bible Journaling designs to card making to share with others! Be sure to watch the video down below for all the details!
Both my Bible Journaling and Card Making projects use the same stamp set, "Hosanna" and both are really simple to do. You do not need a ton of supplies to make them, so they're perfect designs for beginners! I started with the Bible Journaling, stamping the Hosanna in a purple chalk ink. Then, around the word I stamped the leaf image, included in the stamp set, with two different colors of green ink to add a bit more interest to this simple page. Finally, I stamped "In the Highest" under Hosanna with the darker green chalk ink. Super simple!
My original plan was just to do the Bible Jorunaling, but I loved the design so much I wanted to use it on a card too. I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped the leaves on the top and bottom with the same two green inks. I left the center open so I could stamp my greeting. You could use the same "Hosanna" stamp set, but I pulled out my "Heartfelt Sympathy" to add a "Praying for You" sentiment. I used the same purple ink that I used beforehand. I also added a few brown enamel accents, but you could also do a splatter to add more interest!
I also like to decorate the inside of my cards and bring a little of the outside to the inside for a nice finished look. For the inside of this card, I used a verse from the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set and finished with the leaf stamp in the same two colors of green ink. Super easy!!
Here's a look at both the card and the Bible journaling page side by side!! I LOVE both of them!!!
I hope you all enjoyed a look at how I used the same design in both my Bible Journaling and card making! If you are interested in the supplies I used, you will find them listed and linked down below! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
