Monica here to share a card I made using Vintage Christmas Ornament. I love this set with all of it's possibilities of ornaments, I can see me using this for many cards for the holidays! For today's card I started by using the branch stamp in the set with Hero Arts ink and stamping the branch multiple times on the card.
Next I choose which ornament I was going to use and how I was going to use it. Which wasn't an easy choice with all the options since I was only using one ornament on this card. I stamped the ornament fully once and then stamped the top a second time, since I plan on layering the two pieces. In the picture I stamped the sentiment in a lighter color, so that when I colored the ornament I kept the area light enough to see the stamped sentiment.
Once the stamping was done, I used four shades of red Copics to color in my ornament. I colored both the toppers in gray, then fussy both stamped images out. I also used a whole punch to create a whole in the both of the top pieces so that I could string the ornament on the card. I stamped my sentiment again in black and added some sparkle to the holly and berries.
I adhered the little topper to the ornament with foam tape. Then used a foam for the center of my ornament and some sticky strip around the edges, since I wanted my ornament to have a slight spherical look once it was on the card.
I then strung my ornament with some twine and adhered it to the card base. Tying a bow to the top with the twine. It's hard to se the little bit of dimension on the ornament itself, but you can see variation in person better.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time...
