It's Ceal, here to share with you today a card and a bible journaling page using one of our new releases Dwelling Place. I really love the set, it makes super cute cards and also for bible journaling as well.
To create my card I started with a white top folding note card and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I stamped the house image using memento ink and then masked it off to create the cloud background, to do that I used a cloud building stencil. Next I colored it with Copic markers and then stamped the greeting inside the house. For the ground, I smeared some Versamark ink along the bottom of the panel and around the house using a sponge dauber, then used some Sand Castle embossing powder by Brutus Monroe and it really does look like sand.
I also created a Bible Journaling page with the same set, I am sorta new to bible journaling. Back in September I attended a bible journaling retreat and it got me a little more comfortable with it. For a while I just couldn't make myself cover the words, so what I did was bought a bible just for journaling and guess what? The page I created is clean and simple not covering the words, lol.
I am currently in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and we are studying the people of the promise land and just finished the book of Joshua so this set was perfect for a page in my bible. To create my page I stamped the house image with memento ink and then colored it using Polychromes pencils rather than Copic markers because the markers would bleed through to the next page. I love that verse because for me and my house we will serve the Lord!
Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
