Hello everyone... Helen is here. Today I have a Bible journaling page to share with you all using the new Color By Faith stamp sets.
I love the truth that we can find in this passage from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 13, verse 45-46 that "the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!"
The Lord came to search for us and to find us. He left his own kingdom, came down to live among us and to die for us becuase He loves us so much and we are His "precious pearls." Isn't that one amazing truth?
I added some clear gesso on the Bible page with foam brush and then dried it with craft heater (or you can let it dry). When the page dried, I created the frame around the verses by stamping the line stamp from the Light Bulb Moment Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne.
I scribbled some of the Gelatos sticks (Metallic Mint and Blueberry) on the page randomly and then I blended the colors with baby wipes. Then let it dry.
I stamped the tag stamp from the Light Bulb Moment Stamp Set with VersaFine Warm Breeze and then I stamped the Date stamp from the same stamp set with VersaMagic Cloud White using Mini MISTI. I traced the word date with White Gel pen for bolder print and also wrote the date on it. I addd the tab on top of the page with glue adhesive.
I stamped and foiled the seaweed stamp from the Pearl of Great Price Stamp Set. I added the Deco Foil Transfer Gel on the stamp using sponge and stamped it on a white cardstock. Stamping with Transfer Gel takes a while to dry. After the images dried completely, I added the Deco Foil Teal sheet on the cardstock, and run it through the laminating machine. After removing the foil, I fussy cut them with micro-tip scissors. I added them on the page with adhesive glue.
I stamped the clam shell and the pearl stamps form the Pearl of Great Price Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne on a white cardstock and I dried it with craft heater. And then I colored the image with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils and watercolor brush. I added some of the Range Stickles Glitter Glue on the pearls and dried them with craft heater. After that, I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors. I added them on the page with adhesive glue.
For the sentiments, I stamped them with VersaFine Clair Purple Delight on a vellum paper and then I added some Clear Embossing Powder, and heat it up with craft heater. After that, I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors and I added it on the page with dries-clear adhesive glue.
I know... there there are lots of stamping, fussy-cutting, and coloring... but it is worth it to spend time with God's word.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
