Using Ghost Ink with Rinea Foil & Joy Clair Stamps

All this month, as you may know, Joy Clair Stamps is partnering with Rinea Foil and sharing some shiny and fun projects! Today, I want to share a projects with you using not only the Rinea Foil, but also the Ghost Ink which is so fun and has an amazing effect with the foil! Starting with the Earth Tone Variety pack of foil - the brown foil in particular - I cut it down to an A2 size. Using the Ghost Ink from Rinea Foil, I started pushing the ink through a stencil, using a mini blending tool and foam, onto the foil. After letting the ink sit for a few minutes, I wiped it away with a touch of alcohol. Only one swipe is necessary or the alcohol will start to break down the color on the foil.

With my foil ready to go, I stamped my center focal point after doing a bit of die cutting with a scalloped frame, using both kraft and brown card stock. Using the new "Heartfelt Sympathy" Stamp Set and brown dye ink I started stamping on the kraft center of the die cut. Then, on a cream flag banner die cut, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using the same ink. Then, the card was ready to be put together!

I first adhered the foil directly to an A2 card base, and then the brown scalloped frame with the kraft center was secured down using plain adhesive directly to the foil. Make sure it's a strong adhesive so it will stick to the slick surface of the foil. Finally, the banner with the sentiment was put down with dimensional adhesive. I also stamped the inside of the card with a few images from the gorgeous Heartfelt Sympathy Stamp Set! Check out the finished photo below!
