DIY Traveler Notebook With Manna From Heaven & God’s Masterpiece

Hello everyone... Helen is here. If you like journaling or creating mini scrapbooking project, you must be familiar with traveler notebook. And today I would like to share with you my traveler notebook. I decorated the cover with Joy Clair stamps and Leisure Arts coloring mediums. 

This travel notebook size is 4.25" x 8.25" and I made them out of heavy weigh cardstock 110 lbs for the cover, and the inside papers are mixed of copy papers and watercolor papers. I secured the pages by stitching them with some embroidery thread.

Stamp Sets I used on my project today are 2 of the new Color By Faith Bible Journaling collection: Manna From Heaven and God's Masterpiece. And the coloring mediums I used are Leisure Arts Premium Colored Pencils and Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils.

I started with stamping the images from the Manna From Heaven stamp set using the Mini MISTI and VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad. on a piece of smooth heavy weight cardstock 110lbs. I stamped it couple of times to get crisp image.

After I stamped the images, I colored the breads with the 3 shades of brown and white Premium Colored Pencils. I used the white colored pencil as color blender. Once I was done coloring the breads, I fussy cut them with micro tip scissors. 

Next, I stamped one of the sentiments from Manna From Heaven with VersaFine Clair - Tulip Red Ink Pad on a smooth heavy weight white cardstock 110 lbs. After that, I cut it using one of the Luggage Tag Die Set. I colored the tag with 3 shades of yellow using the Watercolor Pencils.

I found this soft pink and white polkadots paper doily in my stash. I added a paper doily on the cover with dries-clear adhesive glue, then I added the tag. I tied up a burlap twine bow and I added it on top of the tag using the same adhesive glue.

Next I added the breads at the bottom corner of the tag. I overlapping them together and added them on the cover with dries- clear adhesive glue.

But, I saw some free space on the cover, so I stamped the dots from the God's Masterpiece stamp set on the cover using VersaMagic Cloud White Ink Pad.

This travel notebook is done. I am going to use it to write down God's word and notes while we are traveling. I hope you all enjoy the post today and be inspired to create!
