Hello everyone... Helen is here today with a watercolored card using one of the new Color By Faith - Light House stamp set, the Fly With Me stamp set, VersaFine Clair Ink Pads, and watercolor markers.
When I received the VersaFine Clair Inks, I am in love with them. And watercoloring make easy with VersaFine Clair Ink Pad for sure becuase they are pigment permanent inks.
First, I stamped the light house image from the Color By Faith - Light House stamp set on Canson Watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair Nocturne (Black) Ink Pad and the light shine lines with VersaFine Clair Cheerful Ink Pad using Mini MISTI.
I scribble the yellow, read, and tan watercolor marker on acrylic stamping block. I picked up each color to color the image with waterbrush. After I was done with the light house image, I colored the background with the same technique using the grey watercolor marker.
I added some white acrylic splatter on the panel with fan brush and some water. I dried the whole background panel with craft heater.
I stamped the sentiment from the Color By Faith - Light House stamp set with VersaMark Ink Pad, sprinkle it with fine white embossing powder, and heat set it with craft heater.
Next I stamped the two sizes of birds from Fly With Me stamp set using the VersaFine Clair Nocture (Black) Ink Pad and acrylic stamping block.
I die cut the finished panel using the one of the scallop stitched rectangle dies from my stash. And then, I added panel on an A2 blue card with dries-clear adhesive glue. My card is done. I enjoy the time I spent creating and coloring this image.
My card today is inspired by our June Challenge photo inspiration. Hope you all can play along with our monthly challenge and we cannot wait to see your projects!
Gorgeous scene. I'm loving the cloudy sky with the powerful sentiment. Thanks for the inspiration.
