Mother’s Day Cards for Grandmother

Hello everyone... Helen is here. Today I would love to share with you 2 (two) Mother’s Day cards for Grandmother that I created using the new Mother’s Day Love Stamp Set and Doodle Flower Background Stamp.

 

I started with cutting all the images and sentiments from the Mother’s Day Love Stamp Set using the SVG cutting files. You will get digital cutting files with every stamp set you purchase from Joy Clair to be used with any digital cutting machines.

And then, I use MISTI to stamp the images and sentiments using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad.

Next step is creating the backgrounds for the card. I used MISTI and Creative Corner Rules to stamp the Doodle Flower Background Stamp using VersaFine Clair Charming Pink Ink Pad on pink cardstock. I stamped it 4 times.

After all the backgrounds were stamped, I cut them using the Fancy Frame Dies. I also cut some of the darker pink cardstocks for the mats. I added the stamped background on the mat with EZ-Runner Grand adhesive. And then I added them on top of white cards.

I colored these adorable stamped images with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils and watercolor brush. They are so cute, aren't they?

After images colored, I added them on the the cards. I found some die cut frames in my scrap stash box and I added them on the card with adhesive runner, and then I added the images and sentiments on the card with 3D foam tapes.

I finished my card with some of the pearl gems.
