Hello Friends!
I am happy to be back on the Joy Clair blog today using one of their new stamp sets - Manna from Heaven! I love the creativity of these stamps! How adorable is that 'can of manna soup'! You can purchase this set here!
I chose the passage Deuteronomy 8:3 to use this set in my Bible.
Deuteronomy 8:3 "He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord." Such a powerful verse!
I portioned off parts of the page I did not want watercolored by drawing banners. I drew one on top and one around the scripture verse.
I watercolored the page using Prima watercolors while avoiding coloring into the banners.
I used a thick black marker to outline the banners. For the top banner I used two stamps in the set, "He Will Provide" and "The Bread of Life."
I wanted to put that cute can of manna soup on my page so I used Stazon Ink to stamp it on cardstock and used a red marker to color it in.
I stamped the verse stamp under the top banner and I also used red highlighter washi tape to highlight the Scripture verse in the banner.
I glued the can of manna soup to the bottom of the page and added some touches of washi and crosses throughout the page. I also added a tab at the top of the page with washi and word stickers.
This set is incredibly fun to use! I only used 4 of the stamps for this page. I hope you plan on purchasing this set as the possibilities are endless! Thanks for stopping by!
