Hello everyone...Helen is here today. I have a Mixed Media Card and a Bible Journaling Page to share with you today that I created using Joy Clair Color By Faith stamp sets and Mini MISTI.

For my first project is a mixed media card using Refuel My Soul stamp set and Fishers of Men stamp set. Both stamp sets are new Color By Faith stamp sets. They are perfect for not only for the Bible journaling projects, but also for making cards, and more encouragement themed projects.

To create the background, first step is I scribbled some of the Gelatos on a piece of watercolor paper. The blue is the sky and the green is the grass. And then I blended the colors with my finger that I wetted it with baby wipe. I dried the panel with craft heater.
Next step, I stamped the criss-crossed wired stamp from Fishers of Men stamp set with Mini MISTI and Versamark Tuxedo Black ink pad to create the wire fence look on the background.

When you buy stamp sets from Joy Clair, you will receive SVG cutting files for free that you can use with any electronic machines such as Silhouette or Cricut. This is very great to create the die cut elements and sentiments. Also... please remember that No Need To Resize the image, they already sized to fit your stamps.
I cut out the SVG files from Refuel My Soul stamp set with my Silhouette Cameo. I used the negative to stamp with Mini MISTI. I trimmed my negative cardstock down to fit inside the MISTI, then I added the die cuts that I wanted to stamped in the negative spaces. Next, I added the stamps on top of the die cuts, picked them up with the lid, and stamped them all at once.
After that, I colored them with watercolor pencils and Tombow blender pen. For the sentiment, I added some Distress ink around the edge of it with make up sponge.
All pieces are done and ready to be made into the card... So First, I added the background panel on the white card base with strong adhesive glue becuase watercolor paper is thicker than any other regular cardstock. Next, I added the gas tank on it with 3D foam tape and then I added the card overlapping on it with 3D foam tape. Then I added some natural twine ribbon on the right corner where the sentiment will go, and on top of the twine I added the sentiment die cut on it with dries clear adhesive glue. I finished this card with some more blue glitter sequins for extra sparkle on it :)

For my second project is a Bible journaling page that I created using Fishers of Men stamp set, Gelatos and Stamper's Big Brush Pen. I did not prepare my page this time becuase I did not use a lot of water on this page. When I work with Gelatos on Bible journaling page, Baby Wipes is my to go blender tool :)

I have 2 craft mat pieces that I trimmed down to use with my journaling Bible. I added the mats under one page and the other on top of the page to cover it from any mediums.
I added the circles around the Bible verses that I want to highlight using shades of blues Gelatos. I tried to create a background that looks like swirl of ocean with the Gelatos.

Using baby wipe I blended the colors with circular motion. Using baby wipe is also not making the page wrinkle. I added some more Gelatos and blended again to get the look I imagined. The page dries quickly since I only use baby wipe, but if you use water brush to blend the color, you can let it sit to dry or you can use craft heater to dry your page before move on to the next step, stamping.

Stamper's Big Brush Pens are one of my favorite pens to use on journaling Bible, they are india ink, dries permanent, and do not bleed through the page.
I added the foam from Mini MISTI and laminated grid paper under the journaling page. They are helpful with stamping. I added the ink on the stamp and stamped the fish on the page to frame the verses, and then I stamped the sentiment on the journaling space.
That's all my projects to share with you today :) I hope you all can enjoy them and inspired to use Joy Clair stamps and Mini MISTI. Make sure to come back again tomorrow to see more inspiration projects from my teammates! Have fabulous and blessed day!
