Hello and welcome! I'm here today featuring the new Joy Clair's Washed by the Blood stamp set! This set has cool clean images in it and I especially love all those bubble images! And of course, what bath set would be complete without rubber duckies! There are 3 different sizes of rubber duckies to choose from.
For my card I wanted to make an uplifting card and especially wanted it to look really clean and fresh. That's why I chose shade of teal, turquoise and blue.
Here's a closer look the new set:
I started by stamping the tub, the "Renew My Spirit" sentiment, and lots of bubbles on white card stock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers, using lots of grays so that I could get some shading and dimension on the tub. After I colored it, I die cut the panel using a MFT scalloped stitched rectangle die.
I mounted that on a black mat, then chose plaid patterned paper from Papertrey Ink. I liked the look at that paper with the stamps because it looked really clean. I decided to mat the plaid to black too, then put it together on the white card base. I love how the tub image has bubbles flowing over the top edge.
I used a lot of Scotch foam tape on the back of the tub panel to pop it up and give it some dimension.
Lastly I added a thin bow die cut from Simon Says Stamp and some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the water. That bow die is so thin it actually looks like thread or twine - love that look! It's the ribbon part of this SSS Chisholm Wreath Die.
And here's my finished card using the new Joy Clair Washed by the Blood stamp set:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Great card!
