Inks & Watercolor on Bible Journaling

Welcome crafty friends, Martha Lucia here today to share another Bible Journaling Pages that I made using of the new stamp sets from the Color by Faith Collection of Joy Clair Stamps. For the first I used the stamp set called Chain Breaker and I used a watercolor technique to create the layout of the page. Take a look of this:

Color the left side column of my bible using a selection of tones yellow and blue. I used the watercolor paints of Kuretake Gansai and I applied the paint with a paint brush or aqua painter.
Stamp the chain images on both parts of the column using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Color some parts of the chain with gold watercolor ink from the Kuretake Gansai.
Stamp in between of the broken chain the sentiment included on the stamp set Chain Breaker using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Stamp the other sentiments on the right page and add some complement images to enhance the impact.

My second project is using the Scriptures of Love stamp set as focal point and Valentine Background Builder as complement set.

The first step on this page was inked the page with Pretty Pink Classic Ink. I used a mini Ink blending tool to create this effect. Then I stamped the the sentiment included on the stamp set Scriptures of Love using Kaleidacolor Ink, Tomato Vine. As the paper of the bible is is thinner I enhance the tones with a blender pen to obtain or keep the same colors of the ink pad.

My next step was stamp different images or borders included on the stamp set Valentine Background Builder using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and enhance some clear spaces inside of the images with a white and yellow color pencils.

If you are asking how to protect the pages of your bible? I have my own tip. I always use a wax paper behind of the page that I work and it absorbs all the excess of the ink, water or colors, and I only removes the wax paper when my page is totally dry.
