It's Ceal, here share with you today more inspiration using another one of our new releases. Did you get a chance to hop with us this past Tuesday and see all the inspiration and how the Design Team used each of these sets? If not you will definitely want to go back and do that because Christy and Amanda rocked this release.
For my card I used the Get Well Wishes set. This set is perfect for not only get well cards but also for encouragement cards when someone is going through a tough time or like the one I made will be sent to my daughter, she and her husband are in the Air Force and this card will be great for her to give her friends when their spouse is deployed.
I have added a little tutorial tip for you, not everyone has a cloud stencil to make clouds. If you don't you can make your own by using scalloped borders or scalloped circle dies. You can see in the photo below, all you do to make your template is cut a scrap piece of paper with a scalloped border or circle die will also work as long as it is scalloped. After you make your template you simple take your ink and a blending tool, lay your template on the piece you are wanting to make the clouds and blend up, ink up your blending tool and start on your temple and move towards the top, and then you just move it around repeating the process.
To make my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I made my cloud background using the technique I mentioned above. After I finished the background I stamped this cute cat image using Memento ink and colored it using Chameleon pens. To finish the card I added the greeting and attached the panel to the card front with foam tape.
I pray this card will bring a smile to the recipient
