Joy Clair World Cardmaking Day ~ Pinspiration with Lori

Hi Joy Clair Fans!!  Happy World Card Making Day!!  This is the first time I have ever participated in World Card Making Day and I am super excited to be doing that with the Joy Clair Design Team!! Mine is a Pinspirational Challenge. Please feel free to be inspired however you choose ~ colors, layout, design, floral elements or a little of all of those like I was!  Here is the Pinterest Picture I used for my inspiration:

I used the Joy Clair Doodle Flowers stamp set and Memento Black ink to stamp the flowers onto white watercolor paper.  

For my card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I added a piece of LemonCraft green paper to the base.  For the cake I cut out white paper for each of the layers, the bottom layer is 3 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches and I rounded the corners with my corner rounder.  I then took my Creative Memories Grass border maker and cut out some gold and orange paper and layered them together.  I cut the piece down to fit the bottom cake layer, rounding the corners with the corner rounder.  I cut the middle layer of the cake with white paper 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and I put the grass border icing on the bottom of that layer facing up.  

For the top layer I cut the white paper into an 1 1/2 inch square and rounder the corners.  I took a little piece of the grass border and put that on the top of the cake.  I took the Joy Clair Doodle Flowers stamp set, some watercolor paper and some Memento black ink and stamped the flowers out.  I colored them in with Copic markers and fussy cut them out and then added them to the cake.   I took some dark green paper and the Dee's Distinctively Dies Lattice 1 die and cut out the lattice and added that to the card. I placed the decorated cake on top of the lattice and then got some more white paper, black ink and the sentiment from the Joy Clair Hello Autumn stamp set and stamped that onto the paper.  I took the Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Pierced Chain Oval die and cut out the sentiment and pop dotted it onto the card.
