Hello everyone... Helen's is here today with couple clean-and-simple cards using new Joy Clair stamps and Rinea Foil Papers, and their new Ghost Ink Pad.
This Ghost Ink is new product and I am pretty impressed for the first time I used with Rinea Foiled Paper. Very simple to use, as well. It does not need any special thing to do, beside stamp and wipe it off with paper towel. It works well on darker colors, but not on silver or gold.
On my cards today I used the Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. It is a beautiful emerald green on one side, and gold on the other side. I stamped the world image from the Salt and Light, Bible Journaling Stamp Set using the Ghost Ink one by one on the foiled paper to create the background. After I stamped one image, I wiped it off right away. You do not need to wait for the ink to dry to wipe it off. Paper towel works and baby wipe works well, too.
On my first card, the sentiment is from the same stamp set, Salt and Light, Bible Journaling Stamp Set. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad on a white cardstock and die cut it with one of the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies from my stash. I also created the watercolored frame for the background using 2 sizes of Rectangles Dies. I added some natural twine ribbon on the card for extra embellishment.
On my second card, I created the foiled background with the same step with the first. After stamping the background, I die cut it with the largest size of the Pierced Rectangles Dies and added on the card with double sided tape. And then I die cut the pennant banner using the gold side of the foiled paper. And I added it on the card with double sided tape, too.
The sentiment is from the Faith Quotes, Bible Journaling Stamp Set. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad on the white cardstock and die cut it with one of the Pierced Square Dies. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
There are many ways to give extra shine and sprakle on clean and simple cards, and using foiled papers and Ghost Ink is one of them.
I hope you all are inspired today with these cards. Make sure to follow Joy Clair on these social media to be updated on their new products, challenges, giveaways, and special events.
