Greetings crafty friends. LeeAnn here today with a project and tutorial I made using the newly released Springtime Flowers and Hello Sentiments sets from Joy Clair.
The first thing I did when making this project was to use the SVG file for the Springtime Flowers set and cut out several of that adorable Daisy.
I then went about cutting my card topper to the intended size of 4.25 x 5.5, I used Kromecote paper for this project as this I have found to be the best paper for this technique. Using the Bouquet color set of Kaleidacolor ink, and a brayer, I inked up the background until I was happy with the results.
Once the background page was dry (doesn't take long), I positioned the stamp where I wanted it to be and stamped with Ranger Archival Ink in Black. I repositioned the paper, placed a die cut over the stamped daisy, inked up and stamped again. I did this until I had 5 daisies on the page. I then took the Sending Gratitude sentiment from the Hello Sentiments set, situated it where I wanted, inked and stamped.
To finish off my card I used Fabrike Decoru in Cornflower color to enamel-ize the center of each daisy and give a pop of brightness.
Now that you have read how I made my project, here is the video to show you how I made this project.
Hope you enjoy.
It's pretty, I like the background too.
