Greetings crafty friends, here I am with a Joy Clair Color By Faith Bible journaling page I did with the "Treasures" stamp set.
This was a fairly easy page for me this time, and as soon as I saw the set I knew exactly how I was going to put it to use.
The first thing I did was to use the red, green, silver, and yellow colors of Hampton Arts dye inks to ink up the gem stone images to the page. I then Wink of Stella in Clear, Silver, and Lime along with Wink of Luna in Red to color the gems.
I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in Black, light gray, yellow, fl. Yellow, pink, fl pink, green, light green, green shadow, carmine red, cobalt blue, blue, brown, oatmeal and mustard to color the treasure chest/pile. Once the ink was dry I used black Wink of Stella on the handle of the sword and Silver Wink of Stella on the blade. I can say one thing I love about the Zigs is that they blend well with or without using water, on this page I did not use water.
The sentiment was stamped using Memento Bahama Blue.
So, as I sat and wrote this post, I started thinking about stamp sets that we released last year and a photo I had of my grandson. I searched through my designer paper for one that I knew would be perfect to put together the project I had in my mind.
And then I went to work. First thing I did was gather the stamp sets All Things Possible and Seas the Day, along with Treasures. I stamped out the images and cut with the svg file included in every purchase. With the Mermaid and Ship I used pigment ink to color up with a blending pad. The treasure chest and sandpile was a bit different. First, I stamped it out, then used my EK embossing powder. I then used my Versamark pen to color the sand portion, covered with Stampabilites Beach Sand Embossing Powder. Used my heat tool to set the powder. I followed up with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to finish off the chest and jewels.
I followed up with this adorable photo of my grandson at about 8 months old in his little blow up pirate ship ball pit. He is now 2.5 and still LOVES the ball pits.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today, as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.
