Hello, Joy Clair friends! Can you believe that it is Friday?!? Where did the week go? Before you know it, we will be in the full swing of the holidays! Have you started shopping? I have...just trying to proactive!
Did you see Joy Clair's newest stamps? Perfect for you holiday crafting! Today, I am showcasing two of the stamp sets. One from the everyday line and one from their Color by Faith line.
First, up is the adorable Three Wise Men stamp set:
So, this is the first year that I have been doing Bible journaling. I have spread out my entries throughout the year. This was the first time I had to deal with the bled through of another page. I didn't really want the page to be interrupted, so I decided to do a "tip-in". This is when you used a piece of paper that is attached with tape on one side. This allows you the option to flip the paper over to see what is beneath it. I create the hill background and attached it with washi tape and on the edge of the page. I then stamped the images. The camel is stamped onto the hills and colored in. The three wise men image was stamped onto cardstock and cut out. The image is attached to hang over the hills. The last image of the city buildings. The image is cut out and attached. To finish the page, I stamped phrase saying from the stamp set.
Next up is the Christmas Borders stamp set:
I used the reindeer border and stamped repeatedly onto a kraft cardstock. I cut the tag shape card out using a die. The ornament is also from a die and attached to the front of the card. To add more red to the card, I added a red dot to the nose of each reindeer. Such an easy card to recreate!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
Jessi
