Greetings crafty friends. LeeAnn here with some fun Christmas cards that I made this past week using some of the new Joy Clair sets released on November 2.
If you haven't yet please check out the November challenge you still have time to work on and submit an entry. The challenge post is here...
Now for my projects... for the first one I used the stars from the Three Wise Men set, and the sentiment from the Merry Christmoose set. First I stamped the stars and heat embossed using Ranger Sparkle White embossing poweder, then alternating Abandoned Coral, Chipped Sapphire and Concord Grape distress ink I did the galaxy background. Once dry I die cut the center out, and stamped the Sentiment and using Recollections Gold embossing powder, heat set that; added a few gold glitter dots and my project was complete.
This second project was actually the first project I completed with this months release. Using a home made circle stencil and white card stock I used Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire distress inks to create the blue background circle. Once the ink was dry I Stamped the Wisemen and with Recollection Gold embossing powder heat set it. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black and the Star with Versamark and heat embossed with Whispers Opaque Yellow and my card was complete.
Don't forget to play along with the November Color Challenge you have until the end of November. We would love to see your creations. You will have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to purchase anything in the store. Good luck if you decide to play!
