Hi Everyone,
Cornelia is here today with a card I made with one of the older Joy Clair sets called Hugs and Smiles:
I got inspired by Jonsoon Hur from Rejoicing Crafts, who made THIS wonderful card, so I blatantly CASEd it with some modifications.....This stamp set really lends itself to this technique. I smooshed some distress inks (mustard seed, wild honey, picked raspberry) and then stamped with the same colors at the bottom and at the top. I spritzed the stamp with water before I stamped, to give it a softer, more water colory appearance.
This is that fabulous set:
I added that cute little vase, colored it in with a white gel pen. I the heat embossed sentiment onto black card stock and mounted it with foam tape. I lastly added Bakers twine.
Hope you liked this!
Don't forget to play with us in the Joy Clair September challenge - the theme is ANYTHING GOES and we have a beautiful inspiration picture to give you some colors to play with! The challenge closes September 30, so there is still lots of time!

Love your gorgeous background! The black and white sentiment is a great contrast as well!
