Hi there crafty friends. Today I am here to share with you the projects I have completed using first the Seas the Day and Lovely Swirl Background set. The next I used the Stained Glass set.
The first thing I did with this project was to grab my Tim Holtz water color paper and Distress inks. I stamped the Lovely Swirl Background using Versamark ink, then heat embossed the image using Stampendous "Golden Sand" embossing powder. With my little mermaid and starfish I used the svg cut file and my cameo to cut them out. I then colored with Bic Mark-Its. For the sentiment I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Recollections Fine Detail Gold Powder. The mermaids tail is made with sequins from my friends shop, held together with Ranger Multi Medium Matte. Base is from Paper Studio.
I am going to say it now, this was the hardest, but probably most fun. I started out with Georgia Pacific white cardstock and stamped out the images from the Stained Glass set with Black Versafine ink. Using my Sharpies and Bic Mark-Its I colored in the images and then decided to use my True Black Spectrum Noir and make the background black. I used the Whispers Nesting Frame set from last months Blog Hop Collaboration with Die-Versions to cut out the sentiment frames. The sentiment is stamped with Black Versafine. Sequin Dots are from the 1987 mix. The card base is again from a Hot Buy Collection.
