Mermaid..yes, Please!

 

Hello Joy Clair fans. Penny here today with a darling Mermaid and lots of bubbles (how else would she breathe?)

I started with White card stock that has been inked with Distress Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. Flick water across this panel until you are happy with the results.

I then die cut the circles with my Silhouette Cameo, but you could do the same thing with metal dies or even an exacto knife. Stamp and heat emboss your favorite sentiment from the Seas the Day stamp set in White. Wrap twine around this panel as shown.

 

Stamp and color Miss Matilda the Mermaid as you desire then fussy cut her out or.....did you know that Joy Clair has SVG cuts for Silhouette software...1 cent...no kidding!!!

Attach the Mermaid to card front by looping her tail through the twine for added interest.

Finally, give her some air bubbles by dropping dots of Glossy Accents all over the card.
